For years, I had pain all throughout my body that my doctors could not explain. It took them many years to realize that I have Fibromyalgia. I get great help from my Santa Rosa chiropractor who I go to at least a couple of times per month for some relief. I would say that my chiropractor understands me so much more than my doctor does. She also has a sister who has Fibromyalgia, and she keeps up to date with all sorts of new methods thanks to her sister. This is a great help to all of her clients who come to her because of the same illness.
As a person who has always been on the go, I found myself feeling tired on too many days in my thirties. I just assumed that was normal for my age. I found that to be unacceptable though, so I started a workout regiment thinking that would help. However, I soon began to be too tired to work out. Then, the aches and pains started. When I had pain in my back, I assumed that was nothing really out of the ordinary, but when my arms, legs and even my feet hurt, I knew there was something wrong. I went to so many doctors over the course of two years before I finally got my final diagnosis.
I had read online that many people who have my illness go to chiropractors. I decided that I would try it out to see how it goes. I will always have trouble, but I can say without a doubt that chiropractic help lessens the pain and makes me feel better right afterward. I feel almost normal again. The nice thing about it is that I like natural treatments, and getting chiropractic care falls right in line with that.
